This project came about when I ordered a jiu-jitsu belt from this company. The quality of their product is amazing, however their online presence and branding was leaving a bit to be desired. So I reached out to them to see if they would be interested in working together. These are a few items from my proposal to them to win the business. I first started with a logo, their current one was a very complex illustration of a panther. It wasn't terrible by any means, but since jiu jitsu has really exploded with popularity in the recent years, I wanted to create a brand that would stand out to the modern movement. Here I showed examples of it on merchandise and more, to give examples of how upscale we can make the branding look. So that it matches the quality of their martial art belts.

Along with the upscale look I gave the branding, I wanted to design upscale packaging as well. The company originally sold their product with very little packaging at all, and I thought it would level up the purchasing experience to add high class packaging for their premium product. Achieving belt promotions is a lot of hard work and dedication, so adding the elevated packaging to experience would really help seal in customer loyalty.

I ended the presentation on updating the website to be a simple, stream line purchasing experience. These belts are custom made to order, so they need a bit more information than the typical online seller. The way it was previously set up was very daunting with unclear instructions. I sought to remedy this with my design layouts and ease of use product options selections.
