My client's design brief was simple as I mentioned above. The notes were that this was going to be a financial service company and wanted a logo the reflected trust-ability, professionalism and confidence. They also wanted to incorporate the used of a bonsai tree into the design if possible. This was one of those projects that didn't have many edits, I provided a few options and the client was immediately happy with this version, and chose it.

Mock ups

For the mock ups, I wanted to make sure to use items typically seen in office/financial settings. So I settled on a letter head, mug and front building sign. I think these really help set the tone of the branding and give good examples of the versatility of the design.
