Prevailer Band

Merch Design

This is project I was hired for by the band Prevailer. They wanted a new exciting merch design for hoodies and long sleeve shirts. I worked with them through a few iterations and ultimately landed on this design.

During this time, vapor wave designs were becoming popular and being used by bands in all genres of music. They wanted to give their take on a vapor wave style look. This is what I kept in mind when choosing the colors and digital feel of the design. Since they were a heavier style band, I added a few skull elements to give it more of an "edge".

The bulk of the design was created in Adobe Photoshop since I was aiming to use very vibrant colors blended in many ways.

They eventually had them printed and sell them on their online store. Overall I was very happy how it turned out, the printing is surprisingly accurate, even with colors being as vibrant as they are.
